Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload including family-based, employment-based, and removal defense matters
  • Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and immigration courts
  • Supervise casework and mentor junior legal staff and paralegals
  • Prepare and review petitions, applications, motions, and legal briefs
  • Attend client consultations and provide strategic legal advice
  • Monitor updates in immigration law and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to firm-wide immigration strategy


Requirements

  • 7 years of experience practicing immigration law
  • Extensive experience with a broad range of immigration cases
  • Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar
  • Strong litigation or removal defense experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities


Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school


Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Additional bar admission(s) in relevant states considered an asset


Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration law and procedures
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong oral advocacy and client communication skills
