A leading national law firm is seeking a highly skilled mid-level associate to join its Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. Location

Duties

• Represent clients in federal intellectual property litigation matters

• Draft and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, and related legal documents

• Conduct legal and technical research

• Manage discovery processes, including depositions and document review

• Assist in developing litigation strategy and trial preparation

• Collaborate with attorneys across offices to support a national litigation team

• Communicate complex subject matter clearly to both clients and courts

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of intellectual property litigation experience

• Experience before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit is preferred

• Proven ability to manage intricate and technical legal issues

• Strong commitment to professional growth and team-oriented practice

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• High academic achievement is expected

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice

Skills

• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy

• Proficiency in legal research and litigation analysis

• Ability to manage multiple ongoing matters with attention to deadlines

• Strong understanding of patent and intellectual property law

• Technically adept, especially in translating complex issues into persuasive legal arguments
